Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 24 August 2026
Welcome to Trenduct. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products and services.
By accessing our website or placing an order with Trenduct, you agree to these Terms along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return, Replacement & Refund Policy.
Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order.
1. About Trenduct
Trenduct is an online retail store operated by Gaurav Kumar, operating as a sole proprietor/trader under the trade name Trenduct.
Website: https://trenduct.in
Business Address: Naya Bazar, Dalpatti, Lakhisarai, Bihar, India
Customer Support Email: contact@trenduct.in
Trenduct may use third-party suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, fulfilment partners and logistics providers for processing, packing and delivering orders.
As a result, certain products may be dispatched directly from a supplier, fulfilment partner or third-party warehouse rather than from Trenduct’s business address.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By using this Website, creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that:
- You have read and accepted these Terms.
- The information provided by you is accurate and complete.
- You are legally capable of entering into a purchase transaction.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws and policies displayed on the Website.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website or place an order.
3. Eligibility to Use the Website
You must be legally competent to enter into a contract under applicable Indian law.
If you are under the legal age required to enter into a contract, the Website and its purchasing services should be used only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Customer Accounts
Certain Website features may require you to create an account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Keeping your contact details updated.
- All activities performed through your account.
Trenduct may suspend or restrict an account where fraudulent activity, abuse, misuse or violation of these Terms is reasonably suspected.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, features and other information displayed on the Website are accurate.
However:
- Product colours may appear slightly different depending on screen or display settings.
- Product packaging may be updated by the manufacturer.
- Minor cosmetic or packaging differences may occur.
- Manufacturers may make reasonable modifications to product specifications.
- Product availability may change without prior notice.
Any material change affecting the primary functionality of a product will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
6. Third-Party Products and Fulfilment
Trenduct may sell or facilitate the fulfilment of products manufactured, supplied or dispatched by third-party brands, suppliers or fulfilment partners.
An order may therefore be shipped directly from a supplier or fulfilment location to the customer’s delivery address.
The use of third-party fulfilment does not remove any consumer rights available under applicable law.
Where a product carries a manufacturer’s warranty, warranty claims will be handled according to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.
7. Product Availability
All orders are subject to product availability.
A product appearing on the Website does not guarantee permanent availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Trenduct may:
- Offer an appropriate alternative where accepted by the customer;
- Delay fulfilment with the customer’s consent; or
- Cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid for that order.
8. Pricing
All prices displayed on the Website are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
The final amount payable will be displayed during checkout.
The final order amount may include, where applicable:
- Product price;
- Delivery or shipping charges;
- COD-related charges or confirmation amounts;
- Taxes required by applicable law; and
- Other charges clearly disclosed before the customer confirms the order.
Trenduct will not intentionally add undisclosed mandatory charges after an order has been confirmed.
9. Pricing or Listing Errors
Despite reasonable precautions, pricing, product information or technical errors may occasionally occur.
Where an obvious material pricing or listing error occurs, Trenduct may contact the customer before fulfilment.
If an order cannot reasonably be fulfilled because of such an error, Trenduct may cancel the order and refund any payment received for the affected order.
10. Order Placement and Acceptance
Placing an order on the Website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product.
Receipt of an automated order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or dispatched.
Trenduct may verify:
- Product availability;
- Payment status;
- Delivery serviceability;
- Customer contact information;
- Suspected fraudulent activity; and
- Other information reasonably required to fulfil the order.
An order may be cancelled before dispatch where it cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
11. Payment Methods
Payments are processed using Cashfree Payments and/or other payment service providers displayed during checkout.
Depending on availability, payment methods may include:
- UPI;
- Debit cards;
- Credit cards;
- Net Banking;
- Supported wallets;
- Other online payment methods supported by Cashfree; and
- Cash on Delivery (COD), where available.
Availability of a particular payment method may vary depending on the order, location, payment provider or other risk factors.
Trenduct does not directly store complete card or banking credentials submitted to third-party payment gateways.
12. Payment Failure
An order will not be treated as successfully prepaid unless payment confirmation is received from the relevant payment gateway.
If money is debited from the customer’s account but the transaction is shown as unsuccessful, the payment will be handled according to the payment gateway and banking reconciliation process.
Duplicate or excess payments verified as received will be refunded as applicable.
13. Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery may be available for selected products, customers and delivery locations.
Trenduct may restrict or disable COD based on factors including:
- Delivery location;
- Order value;
- Previous failed deliveries;
- Repeated RTO history;
- Suspected fraudulent orders;
- Courier availability; or
- Other reasonable operational or risk considerations.
14. COD Confirmation Amount
To confirm certain Cash on Delivery orders, Trenduct may require a small COD Confirmation Amount to be paid online before the order is processed.
For example:
Total Order Value: ₹849
COD Confirmation Amount Paid Online: ₹49
Balance Payable at Delivery: ₹800
The COD Confirmation Amount forms part of the total order value and is not an additional product charge unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout.
15. Cancellation Before Dispatch
Customers may request cancellation while the order has not yet been packed, processed for shipment or dispatched.
Where cancellation is successfully completed before dispatch and no non-recoverable customer-specific logistics cost has arisen, any amount paid toward the order will be refunded as applicable.
Cancellation requests should be submitted through the available customer support channel as soon as possible.
16. Cancellation After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched or handed over to the courier or fulfilment partner, cancellation may no longer be operationally possible.
Trenduct does not guarantee interception or cancellation of a shipment after dispatch.
Customers should not refuse a dispatched shipment merely as a method of cancellation.
If a dispatched order is refused or otherwise returned because of circumstances attributable to the customer, it may be treated as a Customer-Initiated RTO and handled according to the RTO provisions below and our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy.
Nothing in this section limits rights available to consumers where goods are defective, deficient, incorrect, materially different from their description or where another remedy is required under applicable law.
17. Customer-Initiated RTO
An order may be treated as a Customer-Initiated Return to Origin (“RTO”) where delivery fails because:
- The customer refuses delivery;
- The customer repeatedly remains unavailable;
- Delivery calls are repeatedly unanswered;
- An incorrect or materially incomplete address was provided;
- The customer fails to provide information reasonably required for delivery;
- The COD balance is not paid at delivery; or
- The customer requests cancellation only after dispatch and the shipment cannot be intercepted.
Where a Customer-Initiated RTO causes actual or non-recoverable processing, forward-shipping, return-shipping or related logistics costs, Trenduct may recover or adjust such costs from amounts already paid by the customer, only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Any such deduction will not exceed the amount reasonably attributable to the relevant order and delivery failure.
18. COD Confirmation Amount and RTO
Where a COD order is returned because of customer refusal, deliberate non-acceptance, repeated unavailability, incorrect address or another customer-attributable delivery failure after dispatch, some or all of the COD Confirmation Amount may be retained toward actual or non-recoverable logistics and processing costs, subject to applicable law.
The COD Confirmation Amount will not be forfeited merely because:
- Trenduct cancels the order;
- The ordered product becomes unavailable;
- The wrong product is dispatched;
- Delivery failure is attributable to Trenduct;
- Delivery failure is attributable solely to the courier partner and not the customer; or
- A refund is otherwise required under applicable law.
Where applicable, the appropriate amount will be refunded after verification.
19. Re-Delivery After RTO
If a customer requests re-delivery after an order has been returned because of customer-attributable delivery failure:
- A new shipping or re-delivery charge may be required in advance;
- For COD orders, a new COD Confirmation Amount may be required;
- The delivery address may be re-verified; and
- Re-dispatch will occur only after applicable advance charges have been received.
No additional re-delivery charge will be imposed where the failed delivery resulted solely from an error attributable to Trenduct or where such charge is prohibited by applicable law.
20. Shipping and Delivery
The usual estimated delivery timeframe is approximately 5–10 business days, unless a different estimate is displayed on the product or checkout page.
Delivery times are estimates and not absolute guarantees.
Delivery may be affected by factors including:
- Courier delays;
- Weather;
- Public holidays;
- Remote delivery locations;
- Incorrect customer information;
- Operational disruptions;
- Natural disasters;
- Government restrictions;
- Strikes;
- Supplier or warehouse delays; or
- Other events reasonably outside Trenduct’s control.
Where applicable law provides a remedy for materially delayed delivery, those rights will remain unaffected.
21. Customer Delivery Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing:
- Correct recipient name;
- Complete delivery address;
- Correct PIN code;
- Reachable mobile number;
- Necessary delivery instructions; and
- Applicable COD balance.
Customers should remain reasonably available during delivery attempts and respond to courier communications relating to the shipment.
22. Returns, Replacements and Refunds
Returns, replacements, refunds, damaged products, defective products, incorrect products, RTO situations and related matters are governed by our separate Return, Replacement & Refund Policy.
That policy forms an integral part of these Terms.
Where there is any conflict between a restrictive provision of our policy and a mandatory right available to a consumer under applicable law, the applicable law will prevail.
23. Change-of-Mind Returns
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, Trenduct does not provide voluntary change-of-mind returns merely because:
- The customer no longer wants the product;
- The customer dislikes the colour or design;
- The wrong product was ordered by the customer;
- The product is no longer required; or
- There is a minor colour variation resulting from display or screen settings.
This does not apply where a return, refund, replacement or other remedy is required under applicable consumer law.
24. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Customers should inspect the parcel promptly after delivery.
If a product arrives damaged, defective, materially different from its description, incorrect or missing essential components, the customer should contact Trenduct within the timeframe specified in our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy and provide reasonable supporting evidence such as photographs or videos.
Trenduct may verify the claim before providing the appropriate resolution.
Where appropriate, a replacement may be offered first where available.
Where replacement is unavailable or another remedy is required by applicable law, an appropriate refund or other resolution will be provided.
25. Manufacturer Warranty
Certain products sold through Trenduct may include a manufacturer warranty.
Where the product page specifies a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty, the warranty is provided and administered according to the relevant manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Manufacturer warranty generally does not cover:
- Accidental or physical damage;
- Liquid or water damage;
- Improper use;
- Unauthorized repair or modification;
- Electrical damage outside the manufacturer’s covered conditions;
- Normal wear and tear; or
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal operation.
A valid purchase invoice or other proof of purchase may be required for warranty service.
Trenduct does not extend the manufacturer’s warranty beyond the coverage expressly offered by the manufacturer unless separately stated in writing.
26. Safe and Proper Product Use
Customers are responsible for using electrical products, lamps, accessories and other products according to manufacturer instructions and normal safety precautions.
Trenduct will not be responsible for damage resulting solely from:
- Deliberate misuse;
- Unauthorized modification;
- Incorrect installation by the customer;
- Use contrary to manufacturer instructions; or
- Other customer actions outside the intended use of the product,
except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
27. Fraudulent and Abusive Orders
Trenduct reserves the right to review, reject, restrict or cancel orders reasonably suspected to involve:
- Fake customer information;
- Intentional COD abuse;
- Repeated deliberate refusals;
- Payment fraud;
- Unauthorized payment instruments;
- Commercial misuse;
- Attempts to manipulate promotions or discounts; or
- Other fraudulent activity.
Any action will be taken reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
28. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Trenduct name, branding, original website content, graphics, design elements, promotional material and other original content owned by Trenduct are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Third-party trademarks, product photographs, brand names and manufacturer materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Nothing on the Website grants users the right to reproduce, sell, distribute or commercially exploit protected material without the permission of the relevant rights holder.

Trenduct relies on third-party services including:
- Payment processors;
- Courier and logistics companies;
- Manufacturers;
- Suppliers;
- Fulfilment partners;
- Website hosting providers; and
- Technology service providers.
These third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Trenduct will not be liable for acts of independent third parties to the extent such liability legally belongs to those parties, but nothing in these Terms removes any responsibility that applicable law places directly on Trenduct.
31. External Links
The Website may occasionally contain links to third-party websites.
Trenduct does not control external websites and is not responsible for their independent content, availability, security or privacy practices.
Users should review the terms and privacy policies of any external website they visit.
32. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trenduct will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricts any mandatory consumer rights available under Indian law.
33. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses reasonably arising from your intentional fraud, unlawful use of the Website or material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not impose liability on a consumer for matters outside their control or remove any statutory consumer protection.
34. Force Majeure
Trenduct will not be considered in breach of these Terms for delays or failures caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including:
- Natural disasters;
- Floods or severe weather;
- Fire;
- War or civil disturbance;
- Government restrictions;

- Business operations;
- Website functionality;
- Payment or shipping processes;
- Applicable laws; or
- Store policies.
Updated Terms will be published on this page along with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued to consumers under applicable law.
39. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
40. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
